TOUR Discover Belgrade 01

Are you tired of overcrowded cities with standard franchise type fun? Looking for an undiscovered place, with a different vibe, eclectic scenery, exciting nightlife and exquisite cuisine? Do you like to party as a local and not as another tourist? How about experiencing warm hospitality and get to know real people? Rush to Belgrade before everybody does and explore an authentic city where hedonism reigns and making sure you have a good time is an everyday imperative. Maybe it is the blend between east and west, the classical European architecture or the splendid post War buildings, but nothing can quite compare to the former capital of Yugoslavia, an upbeat modern city that is eager to show you its special flavors and sounds.

Day 1

Morning arrival to Belgrade, transfer to your apartment in a nice, centrally located neighborhood. Walk along the main pedestrian street Knez Mihajlova to the Fortress and Kalemegdan Park, where fantastic views of both the Danube and Sava rivers will welcome you. Don’t forget to visit two charming churches hidden between the old city walls.

Day 2

Enter Belgrade cathedral, visit Princess Ljubica’s Museum and wonder around the cobbled streets of Kosancicev Venac. Walk around the Student’s square and visit Vuk’s Museum and the old Turkish Tomb. Stroll around Republic square and end your day in bohemian Skadarlija Street.

Day 3

Cross the river to visit New Belgrade, the best example of post war urban planning, with outstanding buildings and parks. Bike along the Danube to get to the historical center of Zemun. Walk all the way up to the Millenium Tower for more breathtaking views. On your way back, be sure to check one of the raft cafes where locals unwind and chat.

Day 4

We suggest one of the following for a day excursion:

  • Novi Sad, Serbia’s most elegant city and its Northern Province capital.
  • Manasija, the most beautiful and authentic monastery in the country.

Day 5

Enjoy your last day in town since your flight back home departs in the afternoon.
